Germantown HELP is a volunteer driven non-profit organization that offers a variety of emergency services to needy residents of the Germantown, Maryland area. The organization began operation in January 1986. It has four main program areas; food distribution, prescription assistance, diaper distribution, and holiday basket program coordination. Germantown HELP is supported by local churches, schools, businesses and community groups through food drives, diaper drives, cash donations, and by some grants.
